About the Thunderball Long Drive Championship

THUNDERBALL! was created by Colin McDougall, a spirited entrepreneur who lives in London, Ontario.  An accomplished collegiate golfer, Colin was one of the longer hitters on his team at the University of Tampa.

Though he worked in the golf industry for years it wasn’t until after he left the industry that he actually attended his first Long-Drive event held in Montreal.  It was an incredible display of power from players using completely legal equipment leaving the crowd awestruck – including Colin.

To help develop the sport of Long-Drive, Colin has partnered with Full Swing Golf simulators to offer indoor competitions in 2011 available at over 300 indoor golf locations worldwide.   Further details are available under the ‘indoor golf’ area of this website.
